The Bluetooth Smart Sensor app is used to showcase the capabilities of the Microchip's Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module with the sensor board. The BLE should be programmed with the appropriate BLE private service and characteristics to transfer sensor data and an auto-running script to capture sensor data from the sensors on the sensor board. Once the BLE module is configured and powered on, the app can be used to scan and discover configured BLE module and connect with it. Once connected, the sensors view will present the sensor readings in real-time for all the sensors available on the sensor board. The module can be simultaneously configured as an iBeacon and connectable sensor peripheral to enable auto-connect.
